Introducing fellow professional hockey player from Cleveland Ohio, Blake Bolden! Blake is an inspiration and role model to female athletes, both youth and professional level. As a hockey player she has accomplished many achievements such as:

These are just a few highlights! With a degree in Psychology and Human Development, she provides a mentorship program for coaching athletes in training, mental skills/preparation, nutrition, goal setting and more! Now, Blake states, “I am continuing to develop myself as a player and person. Fulfilling my life with as much positivity as possible. Living by example-Showing girls thats it’s okay to be strong, confident, intelligent, beautiful, and independent. Self-love is HUGE and we all need to find it! I believe we need more professional female athletes in all sports sharing their experiences to educate/ mentor our youth in reaching their goals. Congrats Blake!
“Live and eat in color!! Powered by plants or plant powered!
“Avocado toast with red onions mushrooms and tomatoes.”
Why nutrition interests you?
“Started with cooking. When I had time I’d have fun whipping up meals with what I had in the kitchen. Then decided to stop eating meat, doing research about veggies, antioxidants, proteins, healthy fats, etc and fell in love with making healthy food taste really good.”
Feel good drink:
“Boiled ginger apple cider vinegar tea with honey mint and lemon. Whenever I’m feeling under the weather which doesn’t happen often, I’ll make tea from scratch and it completely knocks out any cold I have coming!”
