Fiber Buns

Makes 6

  • 3 egg whites

  • 1 1/4 Almond flour

  • 5 tbsp Grounded flax

  • 1/3 cup Rolled oats

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds

  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds

  • 1 cup Boiling water

  • 3/4 cup water

Pre-heat oven to 350ºf and bake for 50-60min. Add dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Next, add boiling water and the rest of ingredients. Mix well to form a dough like consistency, but don’t over mix. You can also add 2 tbsp honey or dried fruit for a hint of sweetness or just add to topping after baking. When rolling into buns, make you hand damp with water to make a smooth roll and avoid the dough from sticking. Sprinkle oats on top before, place on lower shelf and bake till golden brown!
